As a Veteran, I know sometimes the hardest part of buying a home isn’t the process—it’s finding someone you can trust. When you report to a new military base and sit through in-processing briefings, how often do you hear horror stories about servicemembers being taken advantage of by local establishments? Sadly real estate is no exception. After being fooled by a so-called “VA Loan Expert” when I purchased my first home, I made it my mission to be a true advocate and educator for Veterans. I’ve personally used my VA Loan multiple times, so I understand both the benefits and the challenges.
